Meter cabinet pole
The Jerol meter cabinet pole is an odour- and tack-free composite pole made of glass fibre-reinforced polyester. A 3 mm thick shell of robust, coloured polyethylene covers the entire exterior of the pole, effectively protecting it from weather and UV exposure.
Length, weight, and diameter
Available in lengths of 2 m, 3 m, and 4 m. Longer poles are available upon request. The pole is manufactured in two dimensions, Ø168 mm and Ø216 mm. The Ø216 mm pole can also be used for transformer mounting.
Construction
The combination of glass fibre-reinforced polyester and polyethylene offers high resistance to chemicals, moisture, pests, and insects, as well as other forms of impact. The pole is equipped with a pole cap that prevents water and moisture from entering.
Mounting of meter cabinet
The meter cabinet is attached to the pole with wood screws in pre-drilled holes. Alternatively, self-drilling screws with a coarse thread can be used. Transformer brackets are installed on the pole with a fully threaded lag screw or a threaded rod. Pre-drill with an appropriate drill bit. When using a threaded rod, use a Jerol spacer sleeve.
