Quality
For Jerol Industri, the concept of quality includes not only the quality of the product itself but also the working environment, safety, and the entire environmental aspect. Our products meet a number of certification requirements.
Environment
The Jerol pole is environmentally friendly. It does not leach any substances. It is unaffected by ants, insects, or dogs.
The Jerol pole is therefore ideal for installation in environmentally sensitive areas such as water sources, parks, recreational areas, playgrounds, schools, protected nature areas, and nature reserves.
Work Environment
Our products benefit both society as a whole and the individual. Thinking sustainably and long-term is simply essential. When we develop products, we naturally also take into account the work environment for those who handle the poles. Traditional electricity and telephone poles are impregnated with creosote, a carcinogenic substance – our power distribution products are clean, environmentally friendly, and safe to climb with standard climbing irons.
Quality Assurance
We have an extensive quality assurance system integrated into production, storing information about every pole produced, including a unique pole ID. All materials can therefore be traced and identified. For traffic safety products, there are strict quality assurance requirements in place, which are followed throughout our factory production. The quality assurance is certified by SP and complies with the European standard EN-40 for traffic safety products.
Certification
Sellihca – Nordic Utility Qualification System and Vendor Database – is a unique collaboration between Nordic power companies. The participating utilities use the system to collect information and select suppliers when purchasing goods, services, and works. Jerol is certified within Sellihca.
Reliability
It is reassuring to know that the Jerol pole cannot rot, that it is non-toxic and odourless, that it is safe to work with, that it can be used in environmentally sensitive and protected areas and water sources – a pole that neither affects the environment nor is affected by it, and one that woodpeckers cannot damage. This provides safety for lineworkers who work and climb the poles, safety for local residents, and reassurance for contractors and energy companies. Jerol poles are non-conductive, which offers additional safety when working live.
Safety
Jerol poles are non-conductive and have been tested at STRI’s accredited high-voltage institute in Ludvika. The tests were carried out at STRI’s laboratory at voltage levels up to 425 kV, with excellent results.

The life cycle analysis shows and addresses the product’s environmental impact throughout its lifetime and is an important factor when choosing products. We are actively working to improve our LCA through projects focused on recycling, both in our production and in the use of recycled raw materials.
